Fourth mentoring and training session: Monetization of projects and funding
On Monday, May 20, the fourth training and mentoring session of the acceleration program was held Santalucía IMPULSA. The afternoon workshop included interesting interventions by Tono Mestre and Gonzalo Osés, with whom participants were able to learn even more about how monetize and make a project profitable through innovative business models. The purpose of the talk was also to explain how to access public and private funding mechanisms.
Gonzalo Osés made an excellent presentation about the monetization of innovative business models. “The existing business models are not all that they are, but they are all that are,” Osés said before delving into numerous examples and then focusing on insurtech. For its part, Tono Mestre focused more on the public funding for startups and how they can take advantage of aid for their project. Both professionals made magnificent interventions from which, without a doubt, the attending entrepreneurs obtained multiple knowledge to apply to their projects.
As in previous sessions, each group had mentoring session with the mentors of Santalucía and Innsomnia in different shifts. Some of the startups conducted a videotaped interview during the period of time that they didn't have mentoring. The next few weeks we will be sharing them with you so that you can learn a little more about each one of them, their origin, their project, the people behind them and their experience in the program.
There is only a little more than a month left until the end of the program, in which there will be two more training sessions and three mentoring sessions. The participants have repeatedly demonstrated their professionalism and desire to continue growing at all levels, they are extraordinary entrepreneurs and we are sure that they will do their best in the time left, on Demoday and, of course, throughout the great professional career they will continue to carve out later.
