Fifth session of the Santalucía IMPULSA acceleration program
It seems that it was yesterday that we met the Intrapreneurs and Startups that would be part of the acceleration program Santalucía IMPULSA, but the truth is that the final is getting closer. The participants of the program have come a long way in their projects since the acceleration began, thanks to the different group workshops and mentoring sessions individuals who carry out. Last Tuesday, June 5, the entrepreneurs and startups met in the Plaza España building (Madrid) of Santa Lucía to celebrate the fifth session. First, all program participants were able to have a session of individual mentoring, with mentors from both the insurance company's innovation area and the business consultancy firm Cink Emprender. After the different mentoring sessions, the entrepreneurs and startups jointly attended a group workshop in which they had the participation of two speakers from the entrepreneurship sector.
Víctor Rodado, co-founder of Upplication, gave the presentation “To Sell or Die”, in which he took a tour of the different sales techniques and acquisition channels, both online and offline. Víctor helped entrepreneurs and startups to analyze their type of client and what their needs are. They also evaluated the different sales channels depending on the business model of each case, such as the telephone or online marketing actions. A workshop that the attendees undoubtedly made the most of to obtain the best sales techniques based on their business needs. Later, Javier Alonso, an e-commerce expert and telecommunications engineer, gave the presentation “Learning from a Business Closure”. During the course, Javier shared his learning obtained after a long process of closing the business, explaining the things he would never do again and the things he would do differently. In short, an exhibition from which entrepreneurs and startups were able to learn a great lesson. At the end of each of the presentations, the participants of the program Santalucía IMPULSA they were able to ask their questions to the speakers and talk about their specific situations. Once both exhibitions were over, the attendees had the opportunity to network, with each other and with the speakers at the workshops. Our entrepreneurs and startups have worked very hard to get here but they haven't finished yet, they have one last training session left in which they will work on their presentations for the grand final, which will be held on June 28. From Santalucía IMPULSA we want to thank you for all your efforts, just for having come this far for us they are already winners.
