Santalucía brings more than 30 Latin American insurance company leaders closer to its innovative ecosystem
Yesterday it took place in the LAB Santalucía Impulsa The meeting Field Trip Madrid 2020 Insurance, organized by the community Evenet, where more than thirty professionals from the American continent, CEOs, entrepreneurs and insurance leaders were welcomed, with the objective of show them Santalucía's innovation model, exchange best practices and get to know their collaborative innovation model up close.
José Luis Ruiz Bellew, General Director of Corporate and International Development of Santalucía, was in charge of welcoming the guests, thanking them for attending “a conference aimed at those businessmen and leaders in the insurance market who want to change their organizations and achieve high-impact results, after learning about the successful experiences of culturally similar markets”. In addition, he introduced details about the the Group's international development model.
For its part, Angel Uzquiza, Director of Innovation of Santalucía, stressed that the Group is investing heavily in collaborative innovation to discover talent and new ideas with transformative potential beyond traditionally explored territories and Hubs. “Thanks to the innovation projects launched, from Santalucía we are receiving numerous awards and recognitions that show us that we are on the right track and allow us to move towards leadership in the sector,” said Uzquiza.
He also presented the insurance company's innovative and disruptive projects and told attendees about the added value of Santalucía Impulsa, the company's program for accelerating innovative ideas aimed at entrepreneurs and startups. “The Santalucía Impulsa program, in its two facets, collaboration with startups or intra-entrepreneurship, allows us to proactively seek collaborations and alliances, not only with external entrepreneurs but also within the company's team of employees, and to materialize disruptive projects and ideas, taking our innovative model to a new level within our business culture,” he explained.
The professionals of Seguros Field Trip Madrid 2020 were also able to learn about some success stories that the insurance company is promoting with two startups, one participant and another winner of the 3rd edition of Santalucía Impulsa, as well as a success story developed by Santalucía's own employees as part of the Intrapreneurship Program.
The first success story mentioned was that of the startup Ever Health, presented by its CEO, Rafael García. It is a leading company in medical-technological services that is involved in all evolutionary needs: physical, psychological and nutritional health. The startup performs more than 12,500 inquiries annually and resolves almost 92% of inquiries successfully.
The success story of OARO, provider of blockchain logistics security and information certification technology solutions. As Isabel Bolea, the company's Commercial Director, explained, the startup helps companies reduce fraud risks and improve traceability, safety and efficiency in their processes.
Finally, from Santalucía, Almudena Sierra introduced the success story of Suite, winning project of the Intrapreneurship Program formed by five employees of the Santalucía group who have created a “suite” of tools aimed at the commercial network. The objective is none other than increase turnover through the digitization of tools for the sale of policies.
