Yesterday it was held at the offices of Santa Lucía the fourth training workshop for startups participating in the Santalucía Impulsa acceleration program. Luis Polo, CEO of Triari Labs was responsible for giving this workshop on data visualization. Triari Labs is a company specialized in data analysis and visualization, so our entrepreneurs could not have had a better trainer. This training workshop taught our entrepreneurs the basic aspects in the visual representation and exploitation of data that must be taken into account in the design of applications and information systems. In addition, an approach was made to current needs within the insurance sector, focusing on technical directions and customer management departments within companies. By giving this workshop to entrepreneurs participating in the Santalucía IMPULSA acceleration program, we were pursuing a series of objectives.- First, to explain to them the differences that exist between data and information, because we all tend to confuse these terms.- Secondly, teach our attendees the basic techniques of representation and visualization of data.- Thirdly, to get our entrepreneurs to learn the different existing tools for the visual exploitation of data.- Finally, we wanted them to know the cases in which they can be used, and to see different practical applications, because theory without practice is worthless. After completing the workshop, we can conclude that these objectives were more than met. From Santalucía IMPULSA we want to thank Luis Polo for giving this training workshop, and of course to everyone our entrepreneurs: Sense Water Foil, WBunker, Wibber, Wake App Health, Xenopat, Livetonic, Beprevent, Willowi, Sentimer Technologies and Cerqana, for coming to him with enthusiasm and enthusiasm to continue advancing in his projects. Along with the rest of the workshops given to them through Santalucía IMPULSA, we are convinced that they will get the necessary training to make their projects reach the top.
