Last training session at Santalucía IMPULSA
It seems that it was yesterday when we announced at startups and entrepeneurs who would participate in Santalucía IMPULSA, the acceleration program of Santa Lucía, but the truth is that the acceleration has already ended. It has been months of a lot of effort and hard work on the part of our entrepreneurs and startups that have already come to an end. The past Tuesday, June 19 were held in the building of Santa Lucía From Plaza España (Madrid) the last mentoring sessions and the last group training workshop of the program. The day was dedicated to preparation of final presentations that the participants must defend in the grand final, the Demo Day, to be held on June 28th at the Giménez de los Ríos Foundation. The day began with individual mentoring sessions, which startups and entrepreneurs developed together with their mentors. For these sessions they had mentors both from the insurance company itself and from the entrepreneurial consultancy firm Cink Emprender. During these sessions, entrepreneurs and startups obtained the necessary guidelines for their final presentation.
Subsequently, the program participants attended the last group activity, “Effective Presentations and Storytelling”, taught by Nicolas Randall, storytelling consultant.Nicolás explained to the attendees how to tell your business idea in a striking way. He also taught participants the power of telling stories that help them make an impact on stage. The storytelling consultant also showed our entrepreneurs and startups to using stories to elicit specific emotional responses, with the aim of selling more and persuading. Finally, the participants were able to practice their exhibitions and Nicolás helped them to structure your presentation to really engage the audience and develop memorable characters quickly and find the human angle. Once the workshop was over, attendees had time to Do networking, during which they shared ideas, experiences and opinions. For Santalucía IMPULSA It has been a real pleasure to have so much talent on the show, both internal and external, and we want to thank entrepreneurs and startups for all the effort and dedication they have shown throughout the acceleration. We also want to wish them the best of luck in their Final presentations of Demo Day on the 28th, although for us they are all winners.
