Twenty companies learn from Santalucía's innovative ecosystem
On November 5, a new edition of Seguros Santalucía took place at the headquarters of Seguros Santalucía Field Trip Insurance, organized by the community Evenet. An event that brought together 20 Latin American insurers to learn about the innovative ecosystem of Santalucía IMPULSA, exchange best practices and identify opportunities for growth in a disruptive and increasingly changing industry. The attendees, who included CEOs, entrepreneurs and leaders of insurance companies from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela, were welcomed by the Santalucía team.Andrés Romero, Chief Executive Officer, and José Luis Ruiz Bellew, General Director of Corporate and International Development, introduced the guests to the history of the insurance group in the field of home, deaths and life, the companies linked to their services and their international expansion model based on the alliance between companies and markets. For their part, Ángel Uzquiza, Director of Innovation of Santalucía, reflected on the importance of generating ideas for promote entrepreneurship And of digitize work processes as a bet for growth. He also explained the innovative and disruptive side of Santalucía IMPULSA, the acceleration program for innovative projects per startups and employees of the company. In addition, some success stories of the program were presented. On the intra-entrepreneurial side, Almudena Sierra de Suite, the winning team made up of five workers from Santalucía, announced different pilot tests through the use of a “suite” of digital tools, aimed at the commercial network in order to increase business by selling policies. From the startup group, the founder and CEO of Ever Health, Rafael García, explained the business model of one of the most innovative startups of the Spanish ecosystem today. This leading company in medical-technological services, born out of the need to connect doctors with patients at the moment the need arises and from anywhere via mobile phone, was a finalist in the acceleration program of the third edition. Another success story is Oaro, the startup that won the third edition of the entrepreneur program. Isabel Bolea helped mark the milestones of this app that works with multinational corporate clients in the insurance, banking, health, sports and aviation industries. Experts in blockchain technology and with headquarters in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Spain, they help companies reduce fraud risks and improve traceability, security and efficiency in their processes.
