From September 25 to 26, the innovation team of Santalucía IMPULSA traveled to Valencia, together with some of the business managers who mentor projects with startups and with the winners of the entrepreneur program, to learn more about some of the initiatives and projects that are being carried out within the framework of the innovation And the entrepreneurship in this city. Upon arrival, they were greeted by the team of Innsomnia at its headquarters in La Marina, a special workplace that promotes the collaborative economy and the attraction of talent and where startups from all over the world coexist. After a brief visit to the facilities of this open innovation hub made up of a team of specialists in entrepreneurship and finance, they held a motivational group workshop on Open Innovation with the help of Gil Maria Campos Alabau.
Subsequently, the intra-entrepreneurial projects were presented and discussed with three successful startups belonging to the Innsomnia ecosystem: Pangea MT, Climate Trade and The Logic Value. The second day of the visit focused on discovering the facilities of La Marina de Empresas, a privileged enclave located in the old port of the city and now converted into a public space open to innovation and boating. There they were able to learn more about the methodology and projects that are being carried out in Shuttle, business accelerator and incubator, and EDEM Business School, two environments that make up this great business hub to promote the development of talent, the leadership And the individual initiative. In addition, the entrepreneurs had the opportunity to visit the Polytechnic University and, in particular, the science park City of Innovation. A space, not just physical, with a technological base where universities, companies and society can be connected to accelerate the generation of knowledge-intensive activities. Within this fertile ecosystem, a round table and a meeting were held with some companies and technological partners such as Wonderbits, Blockchain Work Labs, Kumori, among others.
In short, a very satisfying trip for the team of Santalucía IMPULSA and entrepreneurs to a lively and open city, which has a lot to offer to the community's ecosystem and which ranks as the third most innovative focus in all of Spain.
