One more year, Santa Lucía, is committed to entrepreneurship through its program to accelerate innovative projects for entrepreneurs and startups, Santalucía IMPULSA.
This was announced today by the company at an event dedicated to innovation, in which Ángel Uzquiza, the company's Director of Innovation, presented the second edition of the program.
They also participated in the presentation Alejandro Martínez and Javier Arenzana, of the startups Wibber and WBunker, respectively, those who participated in the previous edition of Santalucía IMPULSA. Both have talked about what this acceleration program meant for the development of their startups, and they have encouraged others entrepreneurs to be part of the second edition of it. “Our time in Santalucía IMPULSA It has been spectacularly good,” said Javier.

Don't wait any longer! Starting today, entrepreneurs and startups can submit their projects until December 17. Once all the applications have been received, the finalists who will begin the acceleration program during February-March will be selected.
In addition, the new edition will feature an important novelty, a intra-entrepreneurship program aimed at employees of the insurance group, “Santalucía IMPULSA employees”, a program for incubating projects and developing entrepreneurial skills that offers them the opportunity to develop projects that generate new business models.
How will this intra-entrepreneurship program be carried out?
During the months of November and February, the selected employees will work as a group with the objective of constituting a Minimum Viable Product, having the best, access to the Master in Entrepreneurship and Startups of Santa Lucía. In addition, they will participate in the Demoday in the month of June, along with the rest of the startups in the program Santalucía IMPULSA.
The first edition of Santalucía IMPULSA it was a great success, as we had 458 registered projects, 20 finalist startups, 10 accelerated startups, 4 award-winning startups, 3 pilots, 2 commercial pre-agreements and a marketable product. We hope that this second edition of 2017, which involves our employees and maximizes opportunities for new candidates, will be a triumph for entrepreneurship.
