Intrapreneur
Un Intrapreneur is an employee of a corporation capable of turning an idea into a profitable service or product through innovation without fear of assuming responsibility. Finding an entrepreneur profile is not easy, so you have to take a good look at a series of characteristics that define them:
- Self-improvement: they are always looking for ways to overcome themselves, to improve.
- They share their culture and values with the company, so they look out for the common good.
- They take the initiative: they continuously try to provide new ideas for processes, products or even improvements, always oriented to results.
- They are self-taught: they consider themselves students who can continue to learn and acquire knowledge.
- They see failure as an experience.
- They are persistent and constant: they are thoroughly involved until they achieve their objectives, and moving forward despite the problems that may arise.
Iterate
Iterating is a concept that has become key to defining a business methodology and that, for some years, has been incorporated into the business world. It consists of repeat a process over and over again, taking into account previous results, with the aim of improving it until it reaches where it is desired.
To iterate on the Lean Startup methodology and achieve a good result in our experiments or hypotheses, two previous actions are necessary: to know the customer segment to which we are going to direct our business and to offer a solid value proposition that meets the needs of the target customers.
KPI
KPI comes from the acronym in English for Key Performance Indicator, in other words, Key Performance Indicator. These are the metrics that are most relevant to your strategy, which determine your success or not.
In order to effectively measure the performance of a business, a correct definition of KPIs adapted to each action that you want to measure or control is vital.
Knowhow
El know-how of a company or person is their know-how. It refers to the experience or practical knowledge obtained by solving specific problems or experiencing certain situations. It is an intangible asset that is developed through practice and that groups the knowledge obtained in the trajectory of a company or person to achieve success.
Lean Canvas

This is a method where the Lean Startup methodology is hybridized with the Business Model Canvas tool. Recommendation: Lean Canvas, a business model canvas for startups, post by Javier Megías.
Lean Startup
Lean Startup It is a methodology that consists of validated learning, that is, validating one by one the hypotheses that are proposed to achieve the final product or the definitive startup. In this way, we can define and shorten the development cycles of our product, obtaining the opinion of the target audience at various stages of the process in order to adapt the project to their needs without margin for error.
Machine Learning
El Machine Learning o Machine Learning is a scientific discipline of computer science, specifically in the field of Artificial Intelligence, which creates systems that learn automatically on their own.
A learning machine is able to identify complex patterns in millions of data, review them and predict future behavior. In this way, systems improve autonomously over time without the need for human intervention.
Marketplace
The word Marketplace It comes from the union of two terms in English: Market, which means market, and Place, which means place. Therefore, it can be defined as a place for shopping, a kind of virtual showcase or display where customers can have access to products from different brands or companies.
Unlike the ecommerce, which is a B2B business since it is the website of a company that is dedicated to marketing only its products, in a Marketplace it is possible to find products from many different companies, so use a B2B and B2C type of business.
Mentoring
El mentoring consists of offering, on the part of professionals, businessmen and managers with Expertise, support for entrepreneurs in business development and growth processes.
If we go a little further, mentoring can be defined as a professional relationship in which an experienced person (in this case the mentor) assists another (who would be the mentored one) in the development of specific skills and knowledge that will improve the professional and personal growth of the person with the least experience.
It is common to see sessions of mentoring when startups or entrepreneurs enter incubation or acceleration programs.
Metaverse
El Metaverse It's a virtual world, one to which we can connect through a series of virtual reality and augmented reality devices that will make us believe that we are really immersed in it, since we can interact with all its elements.
The user creates a character or avatar and, thanks to virtual reality glasses (together with other accessories), immerses himself in a kind of alternative reality that allows you to do all kinds of activities from one place. An example of this can be attending concerts, holding office meetings or even visiting other countries.
