Ten startups are vying for participation in the 3rd Edition of Santalucía IMPULSA
97 startups they sent their application to participate in the third edition of Santalucía IMPULSA. Of all of them, Santalucía You have selected ten finalists, who will present their projects on March 12 in the Iris building, located on Calle Ribera del Loira 4 in Madrid. All of them are focused on the Insurtech ecosystem and they have been established for less than five years, a minimum viable product that provides new approaches, innovative business models and a differentiating value in the insurance market. Only five of the selected startups will go to the idea acceleration phase and will have the opportunity to live for four months a complete experience of training and mentoring individually together with experts, both internal and external, from the organization. These will be chosen by an expert jury formed by the Santalucía Management Committee. The members of the jury will especially appreciate that the projects are related to issues of Life, Home, Seniors, Deaths, Emerging Technologies and Digitalization of processes and services, and that the idea offers clear solutions and advantages to a problem for a wide group of users and future customers of the insurance sector.
What are the startups that submitted their applications like?
Of the total startups that applied for the call, 10% are international, coming from countries such as Israel, the United Kingdom, the United States, Poland or Argentina. The rest are nationals, of which 40% are from Madrid. Their areas of work are as follows:

Enhancing Intrapreneurship
Los employees with an innovative spirit In Santalucía they also have the opportunity to present their ideas in the second edition of the Santalucía Intrafpreneurship program IMPULSA Employees, which will be held on March 13 in the Iris building. The event will be attended by managers of corporate programs and training in Intrurpreneurship from companies such as Enagás, Ferrovial and ThePowerMBA who will offer attendees their vision and experience at a table debate during the first part of the event. Subsequently, the employees they will defend their projects and an expert jury formed by the Santalucía Management Committee will choose the two winning groups that will move on to the acceleration phase of the program together with the five startups selected the day before.
