The state of our planet requires immediate and coordinated action. The numbers are clear: Global temperatures have increased by an average of 1.1 °C since the pre-industrial era, and if we don't act, we could exceed the limit of 1.5 °C before 2030, with irreversible consequences such as extreme heat waves, massive thaws and loss of biodiversity.

The role of society and companies in all sectors is key in this transformation. More and more organizations are integrating the environmental sustainability as a strategic pillar, developing business models that are not only profitable, but also environmentally responsible. Innovations such as sustainable design, the circular economy or the reduction of emissions are leading the way to a future in which business growth and the protection of the planet go hand in hand.

In this new episode on Santalucía Impulsa Podcast of our series on sustainability, the first on the dimension of the environment, we have two exceptional guests who will help us explore how we can approach these challenges from different angles:

Carlos Gallego, Director of Sustainability, Communication and Marketing at Albia, who will talk to us about how the funeral sector can be more sustainable, from the use of environmentally friendly materials to innovative projects that minimize their ecological impact.

Pablo García-Bodano, CEO of WIM Estudio, a leading company in sustainability and design, will share its vision on how to integrate sustainability and the circular economy into projects that transform the way we interact with the environment.
